destination unknown

its a good thing today is sunday night and not last thursday, even friday.   i went on a drive earlier today that was about two hours.  made myself pull it in the garage b/c gas is so expensive but clearly wasn't done.... went on another one that was damn near three hours.  the two were separated by the swimming olympic trials.  if work wasn't on the schedule for tomorrow – im not sure how far i would have gotten.  

temperature was perfect.  radio was decent. yes - radio... just letting it scan until something clicked with what i was thinking about.  lots of older stuff this trip.  pretenders, lipps inc., don mclean, skid row, prince, ll cool j, mad season, boys ii men, ac/dc . . . 

i drove no where.  big circles around little circles and a loop back to switch it up and circle somewhere else.  tomorrow is huge.  its my first day having the whole north office to do design work for.  i'll have the help of a girl downtown for mondays and tuesday, but the rest of the week, its yours truly.  i'm not sure if thats what i cant get my head away from or if its things going on with friends.... but as much as i drove... it wasn't clearing up.  but i could have driven forever.  i wanted to drive forever . . .
